The spring equinox, March 21, is the beginning of the new
zodiacal year and Aries, the first sign, is therefore that of new beginnings.
Aries is ruled by the Planet Mars. In ancient times Mars
was the God of War.
In the Zodiac Aries is opposite Libra.
The Astrological Symbol of Aries is the Ram. They indeed
"ram" their way through life by sheer energy and force of will and accomplish
many things by their boldness and courage.
They welcome challenges and will not be diverted from
their purpose except by their own impatience, which will surface if they don't get quick
results.

They are bold, aggressive and courageous, impulsive and compulsive, strongly independent
and physically able to be competitive.
They initiate a lot of projects and have a lot of friends.
They get bored easily and get enthused about new and
different things in a flash.

a perfect outlet for their natural aggression.
They also realize that they are different and apart from

Arians want to be first, they are eternal contestants and

Arians walk ahead of their comrades, do everything first,

They must be aware of self - centeredness which makes them
arrogant with delusions of persecution in its extreme form.
In their personal relationships Arians are frank, direct
and candid, and make enthusiastic and generous friends.
They are liable to have a high sex drive and make
passionate and fastidious lovers.
They are good champions of lost causes and last-ditch
resistance and love animals.
They can easily be irritated by slowness or moderation in
